The film industry is focusing on Georgia now and Amazon has an intent of building headquarters in Peach state which will see the real estate industry grow tremendously. Anyone who has always dreamt of getting a real estate license here should act on this fast. One of the misconceptions in this field is that real estate agents need to be degree holders. Actually, no one will ask you for a college diploma.

With a GED or high school diploma, you will be good to go. Even if you have not obtained a GED yet, you can go back to school to get it. You can easily get a GED course from any community center and college nearby. You should not worry about application of intake because it is always a smooth ride and you will be done before you know it. Once you pass the GED, a background test will be done. This test will determine whether you will be admitted to the real estate school or not. Even if you have a criminal record, this should not be used in determining whether you will become an agent or not. There is an application to be filled in getting a background clearance. However, the laws have to be followed to the later which is why you should read on that before going ahead with the application.

There is a mandatory 75-hour course to be taken before the licensing. Also, you should know that the coursework is only considered if it is taken at a school that is approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission. A quick online search can give you the names of the accredited schools. After you have completed the course, there is also applicable coursework to be handled. Real estate have to do a 6-semester hour or 10-quarter hours of relevant applicable coursework. You can think of it as an internship. Do not think that schooling ends once you obtain your license but rather know that there is a post-license class on updated real estate laws that awaits you once you have been in the field for at least a year.
